Andrew Murray and Britain success in Davies Cup

The slogan "A Tree does not make a Forest" does not hold all the time and this was evident in the performance of Andy Murray. Great Britain over a long time have being an under achieving country in world sports and even though the origin of some of these sports can be traced to their roots, they failed to dominate. The success of Andy Murray and other tennis stars which included his brother in their triumph in Belgium helped to achieve the long 79 years wait for the Davies Cup crown. Andy proved all wrong by helping Great Britain win the Gold medal at the London 2012 olympics and this 28 year old world number 2 Scot have always risen to the occasion. The win could serve as a tonic in reviving the countries tennis slump over the years and boost Andy's performance in January Australian Open.
